Description: The research will discern the reasons for racial disparities in outcome among women with gynecologic (gyn) malignancies, and to develop targeted interventions for addressing theses discrepancies. The objectives are: 1) Identify differentially expressed genes associated with racial disparity; 2) Identify demographic and behavioral differences associated with racial disparity and evaluate the use of psychosocial intervention to decrease morbidity; and 3) Develop novel vaccines for gyn cancers, focusing on those of highest incidence or greatest mortality among minorities.
