Description: Develop an enhanced smart marker which provides improvement over existing WMD markers in the visual and IR spectrums. The IR source will also allow dismounted soldiers wearing their NVDs and mounted soldiers using vehicle mounted imaging to see the warning strobe light and take proper action to avoid the hazard. Adding a visual light source for use at night will improve other dismounted soldier's ability to see the marking sets.
