Description: The Southeastern Universities Research Association (SURA) Coastal Ocean Observing Prediction (SCOOP) Program worked towards the goal of providing a national system for observing and predicting the myriad events that occur in America's vital coastal waters. The SCOOP proposed to take on the task of integrating diverse systems at the national level. Deliverables were software modules for data transport and data translation, computing storage & services, numerous demonstrations, and program integration.
