Year Enacted: 2005
Description: Completed construction and outfitting of the Aviation Ship Integration Center (ASIC) SimLab and FlexLab facilities. Expanded ASIC SimLab network connectivity to additional government and industry M&S activities (e.g., NAVAIR, NAVSEA, JNTC, SPAWAR, etc.) where necessary to allow SimLab to function as a design analysis center, experimentation laboratory, Test and Evaluation (T&E) complex and a training site. Flexlab developed a full scale reconfigurable space used to demonstrate flexible, adaptable shipboard arrangements. A decision center reconfigurable demonstration was conducted in 2006.
