Description: Identified and evaluated alternative vertical lift platforms in the event of Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Short Takeoff Vertical Landing (STOVL) cancellation. Recent design reviews of the STOVL variant of JSF project it to be overweight for the System Design & Development (SDD) Phase, which could cause it to fall short of several key performance parameters. This study performed an Analysis of Alternatives (AOA) in the event of cancellation of the current design effort.
