Description: This effort established an Interdisciplinary Center of Excellence in research relevant to national security and the Marine Corps on the Central Coast of California by bringing together Universities, government agencies (both federal and state), and the private sector, which can evolve into a valuable national resource. Continued efforts to explore this potential and to identify and support relevant research and expertise.
