Description: Demonstrate an integrated electric motor/gear actuator system with potential use in submarine external to the hull electric drive, bow plane, and rudder actuation device applications. The prototype device to be demonstrated would be focused on achieving high torque, quiet, and pressure capable operations. In addition to the prototype device demonstration, a family of actuator designs would be produced and delivered as part of this effort.
