Description: Initiated development and demonstration of prototype wood plastic composite (WPC) structural components for military housing. These structural components provide the following advantages relative to conventional wood products; (1) resist moisture penetration into the building structure, (2) resist high lateral loads from seismic and wind events, and (3) facilitate proper construction techniques.
