Description: Funds will be used to procure Mine Rollers, Surface Mine Plows (SMP), Full-Width Mine Plows and Rapid Ordnance Removal Systems (RORS) and other long lead items through the various activities listed below. The ABV is a fully tracked armored combat engineer vehicle specifically designed for conducting in-stride and deliberate breaching of minefields and complex obstacles. Based on an M1A1 Main Battle Tank chassis, the ABV provides the latest technology in crew protection and vehicle survivability while having the speed and mobility to keep pace with the maneuver force. In addition, the ABVs integrated systems provide maximum commonality with the current tank fleet. This add will accelerate the fielding of the ABV.
