R. 108-584 BIOTECHNOLOGY RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (BRDC) BRDC is a uniquely successful public/private partnership dedicated to promoting technology development and commercialization of agricultural technology. The Committee provides an increase of $160,000 for the BRDC. The success of this investment can be measured by the large number of patents and technology licenses of inventions sponsored through BRDC. The conference agreement provides $80,000. (Funding reduced by rescission to $79,360.) H. R. 108-792 CONTINUING PROGRAMS The conference agreement continues the fiscal year 2004 level of funding for all research projects proposed to be terminated in the President's budget as provided in House Report 108-584 and Senate Report 108-340 accompanying the fiscal year 2005 Agriculture Appropriations bills.
