Description: The Archdiocese of Philadelphia indicated a desire to sell two tracts totaling 107 acres of land adjacent to Valley Forge National Historical Park. The property contains the Philadelphia Protectory for Boys and surrounding lands. Tract 101-60, 85.34 acres, represents the fee simple interest in the buildings and lands comprising the Protectory Complex. Tract 101-62, 21.3 acres, represents a scenic easement interest that would preclude new construction on the unimproved fields and roadways adjacent to the Complex. Funding was provided to commence acquisition of these tracts.
