Amistad NRA: dock, signage and lighting

Description: The Service was directed to provide funding within the repair and rehabiliation program for dock, signage and lighting repairs at Amistad NRA. Funding was used to remove existing fishing dock at Box Canyon and construct a new dock, that would provide improved accessibility for persons who are mobility impaired. Funding was also used to replace dock decking, rub rails and apply non-slip surface to a 1,500 square foot courtesy dock located at the Box Canyon boat launch ramp; replace highway information signs at 13 locations along US Highway 90 and US Highway 277 with accurate information and according to NPS identity standards; and to install 14 solar powered security lights to illuminate the Diablo East parking lots.
