(a) The matter under the heading ''Water and Related Resources'' in title II of division C of Public Law 108* 447 is amended by inserting before the period at the end the following: '': Provided further, That $4,023,000 of the funds appropriated under this heading shall be deposited in the San Gabriel Basin Restoration Fund established by section 110 of title I of division B of the Miscellaneous Appropriations Act, 2001 (as enacted into law by Public Law 106*554)''. (b) Section 110(a)(3)(A)(ii) of the Miscellaneous Appropriations Act, 2001 (as enacted into law by section 1(a)(4) of Public Law 106*554) as amended is further amended by inserting the words ''and maintain'' after the word ''operate''.
