Description: The Medallion program aims to further reduce aviation accidents and incidents in Alaska. The program focuses on improvements to rural aviation safety in Alaska and provides for improvements beyond the regulatory environment. It makes available to industry participants various tools to prevent accidents and to improve and measure safety management by air carriers.
