Description: To conduct a pilot study to determine the need and effectiveness of telemedicine in rural hospitals, and to implement the project providing three rural WNY spoke hospitals, Medina Memorial Hospital, United Memorial Hospital, Wyoming County Hospital, the telemedicine systems to connect to a TeleStroke hub hospital, Millard Fillmore-Gates Hospital, as a part of the NY state TeleStroke Demonstration Project to treat stroke victims locally in a timely and effective manner.
