Description: The SMART Moves (Skills Mastery and Resistance Training) prevention/education program addresses the problems of alcohol, drug use and premature sexual activity. The program teaches youth aged six through twelve resistance and refusal skills, assertiveness, good decision-making skills and the influence of the media and peers while promoting abstinence from substance abuse and early adolescent sexual activity.
