President Bush Addresses United Nations General Assembly
President George W. Bush acknowledges the audience after delivering remarks Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, to the United Nations General Assembly in New York. In his last address as President of the United States, President Bush said, "The United Nations is an organization of extraordinary potential. As the United Nations rebuilds its headquarters, it must also open the door to a new age of transparency, accountability, and seriousness of purpose.
