Presidential Delegation to Attend Inauguration of His Excellency Joseph Kabila, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo

President George W. Bush today announced the designation of a Presidential Delegation to Kinshasa, DRC to attend the inauguration of His Excellency Joseph Kabila, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo on December 6, 2006.

The Honorable Elaine Chao, Secretary of Labor, will lead the delegation.

The Honorable Roger Meece, U.S. Ambassador the Democratic Republic of Congo

The Honorable Thelma J. Askey, Director of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency

The Honorable Jendayi E. Frazer, Assistant Secretary for African Affairs, U.S. Department of State

The Honorable Edward Brehm, Chairman of the African Development Foundation

The Honorable Michael E. Hess, Assistant Administrator, U.S. Agency for International Development
