President Bush Signs H.R. 683, H.R. 2066, H.R. 4841, S. 3187, and S. 3613

On Friday, October 6, 2006, the President signed into law:

H.R. 683, the "Trademark Dilution Revision Act of 2006," which amends trademark law to provide for injunctive relief in cases where use of a mark is likely to cause dilution by blurring or by tarnishment of a famous trademark.

H.R. 2066, the "General Services Administration Modernization Act," which establishes a Federal Acquisition Service in the General Services Administration and replaces the General Supply Fund and the Information Technology Fund with an Acquisition Service Fund.

H.R. 4841, which makes a technical correction to the Ojito Wilderness Act related to certain lands to be purchased by and held in trust for the Pueblo of Zia.

S. 3187, designates a facility of the United States Postal Service as the Richard L. Cevoli Post Office.

S. 3613, designates a facility of the United States Postal Service as the Major George Quamo Post Office Building.
