Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate one individual to serve in his Administration:

The President nominates Robert F. Hoyt, of Maryland, to serve as General Counsel for the Department of the Treasury. Mr. Hoyt currently serves as Associate Counsel to the President at the White House. Prior to this, he served as a Partner at Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Hale and Dorr. Earlier in his career, he served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Herbert P. Wilkins on the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Mr. Hoyt received his bachelor's degree from Cornell University, his master's from the University of Pennsylvania School of Arts and Sciences, and his JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
