Nominations and Withdrawals Sent to the Senate

NOMINATIONS SENT TO THE SENATE:

Ronald S. Cooper, of Virginia, to be General Counsel of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for a term of four years, vice Eric S. Dreiband, resigned.

Harry R. Hoglander, of Massachusetts, to be a Member of the National Mediation Board for a term expiring July 1, 2008. (Reappointment)

Michael D. Kirby, of Virginia, a Career Member of the Senior Foreign Service, Class of Minister-Counselor, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Moldova.

Molly A. O'Neill, of Virginia, to be an Assistant Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, vice Kimberly Terese Nelson. Peter W. Tredick, of California, to be a Member of the National Mediation Board for a term expiring July 1, 2007, vice Edward J. Fitzmaurice, Jr., term expired.

WITHDRAWALS SENT TO THE SENATE:

Henry W. Saad, of Michigan, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit, vice James L. Ryan, retired, which was sent to the Senate on February 14, 2005.

David C. Sanborn, of Virginia, to be Administrator of the Maritime Administration, vice William Schubert, which was sent to the Senate on January 18, 2006.
