Statement on House Resolutions

On January 10, 2006, the President has signed into law:

H.R. 2017, the "Torture Victims Relief Reauthorization Act of 2005," which reauthorizes the Torture Victims Relief Act of 1998.

H.R. 3179, the "Junior Duck Stamp Reauthorization Amendments Act of 2005," which reauthorizes and amend the Junior Duck Stamp Conservation and Design Program Act of 1994.

H.R. 4501, the "Passport Services Enhancement Act of 2005," which authorizes the Department of State to establish and collect a surcharge to cover the cost of meeting increased demand for passports.

H.R. 4637, which makes technical corrections to the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
