President Signs S. 52, S. 136, S. 212, S. 279 and S. 1886

On Tuesday, December 20, 2005, the President signed into law:

S. 52, which directs the Secretary of the Interior to convey certain land to Beaver County, Utah;

S. 136, which authorizes funding for two California school districts providing educational services to students attending schools within Yosemite National Park and expands the boundaries of California's Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Redwood National Park;

S. 212, the "Valles Caldera Preservation Act of 2005," which requires USDA to acquire certain Valles Caldera Preserve mineral rights;

S. 279, which clarifies criminal jurisdiction within Indian Pueblo boundaries in New Mexico; and

S. 1886, the "Naval Vessels Transfer Act of 2005," which authorizes transfer of naval vessels to foreign governments.
