Tunisian Businesswomen Complete Training Program

A three-phase Tunisian-American business training program for women is complete. The first phase was a training program for 25 Tunisian businesswomen focusing on business plan preparation. In phase two, 15 Tunisian businesswomen traveled to Iowa to meet with their American counterparts. The final phase was a seminar for more than 60 Tunisian business women at the Tunisian-based Center for Applied Training. Tunisians and American visitors provided training and networking opportunities and seminars. For those who could not attend, the event was covered by several media outlets. An Educational and Cultural Affairs grant to the Institute of Social and Economic Development provided the funding.
