New Journalism Training Center opens in Pakistan
Fact of Day

At a new state-of-the-art center in Peshawar, Pakistani journalists are producing new educational programs, including: a magazine-style show produced by students, a Pashto-language women's program, and a program directed at Pakistanis and Afghans living in the border region. The center is the first modern radio production facility and computer lab in the province. It is also enhancing Peshawar University's ability to offer professional training to journalists.
