Basketball Players Reach Out to Tunisian Youth

Former Georgetown basketball players Omari Faulkner and Courtland Freeman and the Tunisian Basketball Federation have conducted intensive basketball clinics in cities throughout Tunisia. About 350 youth, both male and female, from ages 8 to 18 attended the clinics. Tunisian coaches affirmed that their players were truly motivated by the clinics which ended with pictures, autographs and the exchange of email addresses. The clinics underscored the ability of sports to bring people together and inspired hundreds of Tunisian youth.
