Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush announced that he has named John E. Straub, to be Special Assistant to the President and Director of the Office of Administration. Mr. Straub has served as the Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of the Office of Administration since July 2003.

Before joining the Administration, he was an Associate Dean for Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. Earlier in his career, Mr. Straub served as Deputy Chief Administrative Officer of the United States House of Representatives. He received his bachelor's degree from the Catholic University of America.
