Terrorists Identfied by the US Government
Fact of the Day
President Bush directed the first strike on the global network of terror saying, "We will starve terrorists of funding, turn them against each other, rout them out of their safe hiding places, and bring them to justice." In working toward this goal, the United States has designated 396 people and entities as terrorists, terrorist financiers or facilitators. The global community has also frozen more than $144 million in terrorist-related assets.
