Morocco Hosts Forum to Promote Freedom
Fact of the Day
The Kingdom of Morocco will host the first "Forum for the Future" on December 11, 2004. The forum is a cooperative effort by the states of the Broader Middle East and North Africa (BMENA) region and the Group of Eight (G-8) industrialized nations to promote political, economic, and social reform in the region. Foreign and finance ministers will discuss how political, economic, and educational reform can be implemented and supported in the region. Members are united in a common agenda to promote the universal values of human dignity, democracy, economic opportunity and social justice.
