President to Welcome Nigerian President Obasanjo to the White House
President Bush will welcome Nigerian President, and current Chairman of the African Union, Olusegun Obasanjo to the White House on December 2. The two leaders will discuss the situations in Darfur, Sudan and Cote d'Ivoire.
They will also review U.S.-Nigerian bilateral relations, including economic cooperation, expanded trade and investment opportunities, as well as the role of the African Union in regional defense and security issues.
