U.S. Celebrates International Education Week, November 15-19
Fact of the Day

The United States is celebrating International Education Week, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education. More than 200 alumni of State Department-sponsored exchange programs have gone on to become heads of state or leading government figures. International Education Week is celebrated worldwide to call attention to the benefits of international education and exchange, and to promote programs that bring students, teachers, researchers, and policy makers together across borders.
