President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate seven individuals and designate one individual to serve in his administration:

The President intends to nominate the following individuals to be Members of the National Museum and Library Services Board (Library):

Beverly Allen of Georgia, for a term expiring December 6, 2008

Gail Daly of Texas, for a term expiring December 6, 2008

Donald Leslie of Wisconsin, for a term expiring December 6, 2006

Amy Owen of Utah, for a term expiring December 6, 2008

Sandra Pickett of Texas, for a term expiring December 6, 2005

Renee Swartz of New Jersey, for a term expiring December 6, 2007

Kim Wang of California, for a term expiring December 6, 2004

The President intends to designate Edward Brehm, of Minnesota, to be Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the African Development Foundation.
