Iraqi Veterans Job Training Initiative Announced
A new Iraqi government initiative is providing vocational education, training, and job placement to veterans of the Iraqi military. This program is helping veterans transition to civilian life and is preparing them for new careers in the growing Iraqi economy. The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the Veterans Agency within the Ministry of Defense are ensuring that veterans have preferential access to job training and placement services. This program is another example of how the new Iraqi government is working to meet the needs of Iraqi citizens.
