Jordan Trains New Iraqi Helicopter Pilots
Iraq Fact of the Day

The Royal Jordanian Air Force recently trained 19 Iraqis to fly helicopters. The program includes ground school, and instruction in democratic military leadership style, basic flying, basic instruments and advanced instrument flying. These new pilots will help recruit other airmen, design the Iraqi air force, and establish and prepare Tadji Air Base for the new helicopter squadron. Helicopters will provide another way for Iraqis to ensure their security.
