Italian and Polish Troops Helping Iraqis
Iraq Fact of the Day

Coalition forces are working to improve the lives of people across Iraq. Polish forces are distributing water containers and pumps to schools and hospitals in remote villages in south central Iraq. Members of the Italian Task Force are opening new schools, have renovated a veterinary hospital and recently saved the life of a 5-year-old child stung by a scorpion near An Nasiriyah. International support has been instrumental in assisting Iraqis as they move toward a sovereign, democratic government.
