President Bush: Information Sharing, Patriot Act Vital to Homeland Security
President George W. Bush thanks Larry Thompson, former Deputy Attorney General of the United States, for his service during a conversation on the USA Patriot Act in Buffalo, N.Y., Tuesday, April 20, 2004. "The Patriot Act needs to be renewed and the Patriot Act needs to be enhanced," said the President of the act that is due to expire next year.
