Mrs. Bush's Remarks at Press Preview of White House Spring Garden Tour
Laura Bush hosts a press preview of the White House Spring Garden Tour in the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden Friday morning, April 16, 2004. "I love this garden. I think the First Lady's Garden, Jacqueline Kennedy's Garden is so lovely," said Mrs. Bush to the press. "I particularly love the pavilion. And when the vines on top are thick, it's a shady spot to sit." The tour is open to the public Saturday and Sunday. Free, timed tickets are available at the Ellipse Visitor Pavilion located at 15th and E Streets on both tour days beginning at 7:30 a.m. White House photo by Susan Sterner
