Iraqi Security Forces Foil Terror Attacks
Iraq Fact of the Day

Iraqi security forces are fighting terrorism. In the north last week, Iraqi police prevented a rocket-propelled grenade attack on a local council meeting by apprehending two men suspected of planning the attack. In a separate incident, the Iraqi Civil Defense Corps and the Baghdad police, acting on a tip from a local resident, conducted a joint raid that resulted in the capture of Nahdem Al Marsumi, the leader of a terrorist cell operating in Iraq, and six other suspects.
