Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today announced his intent to appoint six individuals and nominate three individuals to serve in his administration.

The President intends to appoint Ralph F. Archbold, of Pennsylvania, to be a Member of the Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary Commission. (Recommendation submitted by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.)

The President intends to appoint Wayne A. Budd, of Massachusetts, to be a Member of the Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary Commission. (Recommendation submitted by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.)

The President intends to appoint John Anderson Fry, of Pennsylvania, to be a Member of the Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary Commission.

The President intends to appoint Charles R. Gerow, of Pennsylvania, to be a Member of the Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary Commission. (Recommendation submitted by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.)

The President intends to appoint Judith Rodin, of Pennsylvania, to be a Member of the Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary Commission.

The President intends to appoint Jeffrey L. Sedgwick, of Massachusetts, to be a Member of the Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary Commission. (Recommendation submitted by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.)

The President intends to nominate Edward E. Kaufman, of Delaware, to be a Member of the Broadcasting Board of Governors, for the remainder of a three-year term expiring August 13, 2006.

The President intends to nominate Fayza Veronique Boulad Rodman, of the District of Columbia, to be a Member of the Broadcasting Board of Governors for the remainder of a three-year term expiring August 13, 2006.

The President intends to nominate Steven J. Simmons, of Connecticut, to be a Member of the Broadcasting Board of Governors for a three-year term expiring August 13, 2006.
