President to Welcome Prime Minister of the Netherlands
Statement by the Deputy Press Secretary

President Bush will welcome Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende to the White House on September 3, 2003 for a working breakfast. The Netherlands stands among America's closest allies in the war on terrorism and the effort to bring peace and democracy to Afghanistan and Iraq. The Netherlands is a founding member of NATO with a deep-rooted commitment to transatlantic cooperation.
