Statement by the Press Secretary
Prime Minister Vladimir Spidla of the Czech Republic to Visit Washington

President Bush will welcome Prime Minister Vladimir Spidla of the Czech Republic to the White House on July 15. The Czech Republic is a close friend and ally of the United States. It remains a staunch member of the Coalition that brought freedom to Iraq. The President and Prime Minister Spidla will discuss transatlantic priorities, Iraq, the war on terrorism and other key global issues during their meeting.
