President Bush to Welcome PM Thaksin of Thailand
Statement by the Press Secretary
President Bush will welcome Prime Minister Thaksin to Washington on June 10. The United States and the Kingdom of Thailand are treaty allies and old friends. President Bush looks forward to discussing next steps in the war on terror, regional security issues, economic cooperation, and ways to further strengthen the alliance between the United States and Thailand.
