Global Message

KEY POINTS

  • The United States continues to have strong relations with Saudi Arabia and we are pleased with their cooperation in the ongoing war against terrorism, particularly since September 11th.

  • As with many countries around the world, Saudi Arabia must deal with the fact that it has terrorists inside its country, whose presence is as much a threat to Saudi Arabia as it is to Americans and others who live and work there.

  • The terrorist bombings this week killed not just Americans, but also citizens of other countries.

  • The U.S. is constantly working with nations around the world to urge them to focus on the threat or terrorism and to determine what can be done to combat the threat.
