President Bush to Welcome President of Dominican Republic to White House
Statement by the Deputy Press Secretary

The President will welcome President Hipólito Mejía to the White House for a meeting on May 20. The President values the longstanding ties of family and friendship that unite the United States and the Dominican Republic. The President looks forward to discussing with President Mejía the many ways we can continue to advance our common agenda of security, good governance, human rights, and free trade.
