President Highlights Humanitarian Efforts in Afghanistan
President George W. Bush highlights humanitarian efforts in Afghanistan during remarks about U.S. Humanitarian Aid to Afghanistan, Friday, October 11, 2002 at the Presidential Hall in the Dwight David Eisenhower Executive Office Building. "More than 2 million Afghan refugees have returned back to the country since November. That is a positive sign.
