President George W. Bush talks addresses the media during his and Mrs. Bush's visit to Samuel W. Tucker Elementary School in Alexandria, VA, March 20. At the school they announced a partnership to help Afghan children prepare for school. "We want to make sure they've got tablets to write on and crayolas to color with, and even jump ropes to jump with," said the President. ".We've sent 4 million textbooks thus far, and there's another 6 million to go in Afghanistan, so the boys and girls will have something to read." White House photo by Susan Sterner.
