Bill Signings
Statement by the Press Secretary

On Tuesday, January 8, 2002, the President signed the following bills into law:

H.R. 2199, which permits any Federal law enforcement agency to enter into a cooperative law enforcement agreement with the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia.

H.R. 2657, which redesignates the Family Division of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia as the Family Court of the Superior Court and makes structural and administrative changes affecting the Court's operations, including rules regarding the assignment and service of Family Court judges.
