President Signs National Museum of African American History Act
Statement by the Deputy Press Secretary
On Friday, December 28, 2001, the President was pleased to sign in to law H.R. 3442, the National Museum of African American History and Culture Plan for Action Presidential Commission Act of 2001. This Act authorizes a Commission to develop a plan of action for the establishment of a National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.
