Mrs. Bush's Remarks at Harry Potter Screening
Hello, and welcome to this special screening of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone"!
For everyone who's read the Harry Potter books, you know that it's a very exciting day for muggles and wizards alike.
You'll see the young wizard Harry and his friends spring to life from the pages of a really good book.
I hope you have fun watching the story unfold.and for those of you who haven't read the book yet, I hope this movie inspires you to go out and get a copy to read for yourself.
For the parents who are here today, I hope you'll make time to read with your children. Reading together can be a great source of comfort for both your children and you.
I love how books let our imaginations take off like a giant on a motorcycle. You'll find it's as much fun to read about Harry Potter's adventures as it is to watch them on the big screen.
Though your movie theatre seat is no Nimbus 2000 broomstick, you are in for a wild ride today.
Enjoy the show!
