Amir of Qatar to Visit Washington
Statement by the Press Secretary
President Bush will welcome Amir Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani to Washington for a working visit on October 4. The United States and Qatar share a broad range of common interests in the Middle East. The President looks forward to discussing bilateral and regional issues with the Amir, including efforts to deepen our bilateral cooperation to promote peace and stability in the Middle East.
